How to Use This Book

This book gives every student the core knowledge of technical and vocational education and training (TVET): the safety habits, practical skills, technical understanding and workplace attitudes shared by almost all trades and technical careers. Each chapter presents key concepts, essential formulas and practices, and review questions with answers. Numbers in square brackets, such as [1], point to the numbered References at the end. Practical skills are learned by doing under qualified supervision.
