How to Use This Book

This book gives every student the core knowledge of mathematics, from number sense and algebra to geometry, trigonometry, statistics, introductory calculus and linear algebra. Each chapter presents key ideas, essential formulas, worked examples and review questions with answers. Numbers in square brackets, such as [1], point to the numbered References at the end. Mathematics is learned by doing: attempt every example before reading the solution, and return to the review questions a week later.
